There are a number of filtration products that employ various filtration methods such as the Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultraviolet (UV) systems.
However, Ultrafiltration (UF) based systems, like the HomePure Nova Water Filter System, are ideally suited for household needs and have several key advantages over RO or UV filtration.
The core UF filter in the HomePure Nova filter cartridge produces naturally balanced water by allowing trace minerals to pass through while ensuring contaminants are filtered out. A HomePure Nova filter will absorb and remove 97% of chlorine; 99% of turbidity; and 99% of the 46 types of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) such as atrazine, carbofuran, lindane, simazine, and toluene; as well as heavy metals (Hg, Pb, Cr, Fe, Al, Cu), herbicides, pesticides, and trihalomethanes.
HomePure Nova’s reduction of heavy metals is evaluated and supported by the independent laboratory, Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL).
IMPORTANT: HomePure Nova water filters must only be used with treated metropolitan water supply. The water supply must not be hotter than 35 °C. For low-clarity water supplies, the HomePure Prefilter is recommended to protect the life of the HomePure Nova Filter Cartridge.

Microban® Antibacterial Protection
Microban® antibacterial technology is built-in to the water tank, head adapter, and LPDE hose inside the flexible pipe of HomePure Nova during the manufacturing process to help prevent the growth of bacteria, mould, and mildew that can adversely affect the performance of the filter.

HomePure Nova Water is Pi-Water
Your HomePure Nova Water Filtration System makes high-performing Pi-Water based on the research of Dr Akihiro Yamashita in 1964. The water is treated with microscopic quantities of Ferric Ferrous Salt (Fe2Fe3) to mimic living body water and transform it into Pi-Water, the water of life.
Conversion of ordinary water to living body water consumes a lot of energy. Pi-Water consumes less energy and is absorbed by the body easily. Due to Pi-Water’s similarity to ‘Living Body Water’, it allows the body to better absorb the oxygen and minerals that come with the water molecules.
1. SEDIMENT FILTER
Made of PE net and two-layered non-woven fabric material, the prefilter effectively filters out suspended solids such as rust residue, mud, and sand larger than 5 microns (5/1000 mm).
2. HIGH-PERFORMING ACTIVATED CARBON BLOCK FILTER
The high-performing activated carbon block has been enhanced for better contaminant absorption, and longer filter cartridge lifetime (up to 5,000 litres). 9. ANTIBACTERIAL SILVER-LITE STONE*
Made of inorganic compound materials, the antibacterial silver-lite stone is effective in preventing bacteria and algae growth due to its silver ions (Ag+) that move throughout the filter. Hence, the remaining water in the filter does not become contaminated, and bacteria are prevented from re-entering the filter.

2. Keep it cool
Use with cold tap water between 4 °C and 35 °C; warmer water temperatures will affect the activated carbon filter and the taste of the water.
3. Under pressure
Use with optimal water pressure (1-4 bars); pressure higher than four bars may cause the unit to overflow or may cause damage to the filter cartridge and water filter unit.
4. Use metropolitan water
HomePure, like any household water filtration system, is designed to remove contaminants and enhance water from a treated metropolitan supply only.
